I was frustrated for over a year trying to learn how to free motion quilt using my longarm machine. I tried everything! Books, DVD's, Youtube videos… YOU NAME IT, I TRIED IT!
I was worried i'd never be good enough
to finish my own quilts little own take in customer quilts.
After talking with hundreds of other aspiring longarm quilters, I was reassured to learn that I was not alone. Almost everyone I talked to agreed that the learning curve was much greater than they thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, I talked to several that said they were just born with tons of natural talent, whether I believe them or not is another story altogether.
Without a doubt, I was sure that hands-on classes were the best way to learn to use my longarm quilting machine. I searched for, found and finally took classes from some of the greatest longarm quilters on the planet. I learned beginner, intermediate and advanced quilting techniques and designs.
Although I'd spent thousands of dollars travelling to take these classes, it did not make me immediately proficient. I had to practice those designs over and over for months or they would have been totally lost. Through this struggle time, I developed this program that optimizes every minute you spend in front of your machine.
